La crisis económica es una
de las causas de la renovada
fiebre del oro a nivel
mundial. La mayor parte de
las veces, las terribles
consecuencias de la minería
del oro las pagan los más
pobres y la naturaleza.
También fuentes de agua y
acuíferos están severamente
amenazados de contaminación
por tóxicos como el cianuro
y el mercurio que se
utilizan masivamente en
minería.<br>

En Ecuador, 17 campesinos
enfrentan un juicio injusto,
ya que tras su participación
en un acto ceremonial de
purificación del agua y en
contra de la minería fueron
acusados penalmente por el
Estado. Únete con tu firma
